Support

The support we provide at St Catherine’s takes many forms: emotional, practical and, of course, academic. And our eight carefully selected residential tutors are the people who will provide most of that support on a daily basis.

Our tutors tend to be post-grads enrolled in Maters or Ph.D programs, so they know what university life is all about, both inside and outside the lecture rooms. They’ve been there and done that, and they’ll help you get the most out of everything St Cat’s has to offer, as well as your education – their collective expertise spans a range of disciplines.

The Dean of Residents also co-ordinates a comprehensive program of tutorials that complement university courses, covering subjects as diverse as study techniques, stress management and exam preparation.

With support like this, it’s little wonder St Cat’s enjoys a 96-98% pass rate year in, year out, with over half our students gaining a distinction average or above.
